The heart is solid wood, about six inches tall, with an arrow passing through it. It’s engraved in our Salt Lake City workshop with the couple’s names and their wedding date, or with a surname, a monogram or “Our Story” — five designs in all. It stands on a shelf, and it’s the piece still out on the first anniversary, after everything else from the wedding has been put away. Around it: a jar of Divina fig spread for the first cheese board they put out as a married couple, three Ferrero Rocher for the first quiet evening after the wedding, and a mini dried bouquet wrapped in kraft paper that keeps its color long after the day. Every board, heart and figurine in a curated box is cut, engraved and oiled in our own workshop by a team of ten. We send a digital preview before anything is cut and pack each box by hand the day it ships. The rest — the coffee, the chocolate, the candle — comes from makers we've chosen ourselves: small local producers, many of them a short drive away, and brands built around a mission we believe in.
