Custom Digital Watercolor Portrait Sketch

HOW PORTRAITS WORK

A drawing, not a filter

Send us a photo and our design team draws it — genuinely draws it, by hand, digitally; no automated filter ever touches your family's faces. Two styles cover most walls: soft watercolor, with color and warmth, and line art, the clean single-line look that suits modern rooms. Subjects run the whole household: the family (kids stacked in arms, everyone's names arched above), couples, pets solo or in packs — we'll combine separate photos into one scene — and houses, drawn from your snapshot or pulled from Street View. Finishing comes two ways: printed and framed in premium oak, ready to hang, or engraved directly into a maple wood plaque for the fully-wood version. You approve the drawing in a free preview before anything is printed, framed, or engraved — revisions included, likeness guaranteed by your own eyes.

QUESTIONS

Personalized portraits, answered

Drawn — by our design team, from your photo, with the judgment a filter doesn't have: cleaning up backgrounds, fixing the one closed eye, combining the photo of you two with the separate photo of the dog. That's also why you get a preview: you approve the actual artwork, and we revise until it looks like the people you know.

Watercolor carries warmth and color — it reads as art above a couch, and it's the favorite for family and pet portraits. Line art is minimal and modern — a single clean line that suits offices, hallways, and anyone whose taste runs Scandinavian. Same drawing care either way; when torn, match it to the wall it'll hang on.

The framed version (premium oak frame, ready to hang) shows the drawing in full detail and color — the gallery look. The engraved maple plaque burns the drawing into wood itself — fully permanent, warmly rustic, and the version that matches the rest of a wooden home. Sentimental tiebreaker: engraving for the kitchen and shelf, frame for the wall.

A clear one beats a professional one — faces visible, decent light, phone photos welcome. We can work from imperfect shots, combine multiple photos into one scene, add the pet from a separate picture, and draw houses from a single exterior photo (or the address, via Street View). Unsure if yours will work? Send it; we'll tell you honestly before you order.

Faster than "commissioned art" sounds: the drawing lands in your inbox as a preview quickly, and once you approve it, we print/frame or engrave and ship within 24 hours. Tight deadline for an anniversary or memorial? Note the date on your order and we'll flag it for the team.

Have something specific in mind?

The whole family plus the dog from four different photos, grandma's 1965 wedding portrait redrawn, the house you grew up in from one faded print — we draw projects like this all the time. Talk to us and we'll tell you in minutes if we can do it (we usually can).
