Wooden Christmas Ornaments, the forest on your tree

Three Decembers' worth of reasons: they don't shatter when the cat audits the tree, the real bark and grain make each one a one-of-one instead of a factory run, and they age into heirlooms rather than out of fashion. The unboxing in year twenty looks exactly like year one — minus the worry.

The woodland lineup — snowflakes, moose, reindeer — plus bark-winged angel silhouettes (with a bow, a trumpet, a star, a candle), nativity ornaments set inside stars, trees, and bark arches, and the flying pig for the household in on the joke. All carved with the bark left where the tree put it.

The star of the show: your dog's (or cat's) face engraved into an ornament from a photo you send — previewed before we engrave, reordered by the same families every year the pack grows. Names, years, and logos on the classic designs are a message away; companies order moose by the fifty for client trees.

Two ways: several Christmas curated boxes include an ornament alongside the candle, treats, and card — the ornament is the part that survives to next year — and any ornament can join a build-your-own box as the finishing touch on top of the crinkle paper.

Gently is optional — that's the point. Keep them dry in any box (no bubble-wrap engineering required), and skip attics that swing from sauna to freezer. The bark is well-adhered and the wood is solid; realistically, the storage box will wear out first.
