Clean slices, crust to crumb
A good bread knife saws instead of pressing down. The deep serrations on this 8-inch blade grip a hard crust on the first stroke, then glide through the crumb without squashing it. The same edge handles tomatoes, citrus, layer cakes and soft fruit.
The blade is 67 layers of Damascus steel, polished to show its wave pattern. The olive wood handle is shaped to sit comfortably in the hand, and every handle has its own grain.
Hand wash and dry right away. Keep it out of the dishwasher to protect the edge and the wood.
