WHY ENGRAVED UTENSILS
The most-used gift in the kitchen
An engraved utensil is the sleeper hit of personalized gifts: modest price, daily use, and the name is literally in their hand every time they cook. The classics — "Nonna's Kitchen" on a serving spoon, the family name down a spatula, a couple's names and date across a salad server set. The fun ones — our First Place and Second Place engraved spoons and the Chili Cook-Off ladle, real trophies for the family's fiercest tradition. And the practical ones — logo-engraved spoons and sets that make corporate and event gifting easy at any quantity. Every handle is engraved to order on our production floor, permanent in the wood, with a free preview before anything is cut.
Personalized utensils, answered
What can you engrave on a wooden utensil?
Handles take names, dates, short phrases, monograms, and logos — anything that fits a handle's real estate reads best at a few words. House favorites: a kitchen title ("Grandma's Kitchen, est. 1985"), an inside joke down the spatula, the couple's names on salad servers. You'll see exact placement and sizing in your free preview.
Is the engraving permanent? Will it wash off or wear away?
It's cut into the wood itself — no ink, paint, or print — so it can't wash off, peel, or fade. Hand wash and occasionally oil the utensil like any wooden tool, and the engraving actually gains contrast as the wood deepens around it over the years.
Can I get a whole set engraved to match?
Yes — the 4- and 6-piece sets engrave as a family: same name or design across every handle, or a different word on each (one couple did their wedding vows, one line per utensil). Sets with holders make the strongest gift presentation; you'll approve the full layout across all pieces in one preview.
What's a fun personalized utensil gift?
The trophies. First Place and Second Place spoons for the household's eternal rivalry, the Chili Cook-Off ladle for the reigning champion, a "World's Okayest Cook" spatula for the honest. Engraved utensils are the rare personalized gift that lands as comedy and gets used every day after the joke.
Can you engrave our company logo on utensils?
Yes — spoons, spatulas, and full sets take logos cleanly, and they're a favorite corporate gift precisely because nobody throws away a beautiful spoon. Send a vector file (SVG/AI) for the crispest result; volume pricing and the first-piece photo approval process run through our corporate gifts program.
Want a name on it?
Vows across a six-piece set, the cook-off trophy in her handwriting, fifty logo spoons for the retreat — we make utensil projects like this all the time. Talk to us and we'll tell you in minutes if we can engrave it (we usually can).
