Salt and pepper mills in olive wood
Each mill is turned from solid olive wood into a classic tall shape, about 9 inches high, with the grain running dark and light from the cap to the base. The steel nuts on top are stamped S and P, and turning them sets the grind from fine to coarse.
The two stand side by side in a 5.5-inch olive wood tray that catches stray grains, so the pair can stay out on the table or by the stove. Every piece comes from a different part of the tree, so no two sets look quite the same.
