I don't have a photo of their new house. Can you still engrave it?
Yes — this is one of our most common requests. Give us the address and we'll pull the house from Google Street View, then clean up the scene before engraving: garbage cans, cars in the driveway, an overgrown hedge, all removed. You'll approve the tidied sketch in your free preview, so the house looks the way it deserves to.
What if they live in an apartment or a cabin, not a house?
Same gift, different silhouette. We sketch and engrave apartment buildings, condos, townhomes, and cabins — cabin housewarmings are a quiet specialty of ours. And when the building itself isn't the point, GPS coordinates of the new place make a design that works for any address on earth. Don't know the coordinates? Just give us the address; we'll look them up.
Should the design say "Home Sweet Home", "Welcome Home", or the address?
Match it to the giver. "Welcome Home" is the natural note from friends and family greeting them into the place; "Home Sweet Home" is the settled, permanent phrase — it works from anyone, forever. The address or family name with an established year is the most personal and the most kept. Can't decide? Names + year under the house sketch never misses, and you'll see it in the preview before we engrave.
What should I bring to a housewarming party if I don't know their style?
