An olive wood steak board with his name on it, and knives to match
The board is a 16 × 7 inch piece of olive wood with a handle carved into one end and a groove routed around the rim to catch the juice from a rested steak — a working board, engraved with his name, the name of the grill, or one of the grill designs on the picker. Sixteen inches is the size we sell most of; it’s right for two steaks and a pile of corn. Olive is one of the hardest woods you can put a knife on, doesn’t score easily or hold onto smoke, and we oil it with food-safe mineral oil before it ships. Four knives with olive handles engraved to match sit in a block cut from the same wood — for the cheese course, or for whatever comes off the grill. It’s the BBQ gift for the man who already has the tongs.

Every board, heart and figurine in a curated box is cut, engraved and oiled in our own workshop by a team of ten. We send a digital preview before anything is cut and pack each box by hand the day it ships. The rest — the coffee, the chocolate, the candle — comes from makers we've chosen ourselves: small local producers, many of them a short drive away, and brands built around a mission we believe in.
