Five years is the wood anniversary, and this is the box for it. The heart is cut from maple in our Salt Lake City workshop, six inches tall, and engraved one of four ways — a monogram, “Our Story,” a surname and date, or “Happy Anniversary” — then stands on a shelf and stays there. Around it: a bar of Amedei’s Toscano Nocciola, a Tuscan hazelnut chocolate worth opening on the night, Sienna Sage hand cream, and a small dried bouquet wrapped in kraft paper that will outlast any roses. It’s the anniversary gift for a couple who’d rather have one thing that lasts than five that don’t — and it works for any year, not just the fifth.

Every board, heart and figurine in a curated box is cut, engraved and oiled in our own workshop by a team of ten. We send a digital preview before anything is cut and pack each box by hand the day it ships. The rest — the coffee, the chocolate, the candle — comes from makers we've chosen ourselves: small local producers, many of them a short drive away, and brands built around a mission we believe in.
